Katie Ziskind 500-RYT majored in psychology at Mitchell College and is interested in researching Eastern and Western medicine in her graduate program. She feels a connection to Ana Forrest’s teachings. Katie has taught children’s yoga at the Westerly Community Yoga Center, the Waterford Friendship School, Mystic Arts Center, the Drop-In Learning Center, Dean’s Mill Elementary School, Jennings Elementary School, and Gallup Hill Elementary School. In addition to teaching children, she teaches yoga to people with special needs. Katie has shared yoga with members of the Crescent Beach Association, Black Point Beach Club, McCooks Park, Ocean Community YMCA of Mystic, Blissworks Yoga and Healing Arts, Pradipika Yoga Studio, Zen and Now Wellness Center, Waterford Country School, Zen and Now, Inner Peace CT and Get Bent. Katie specializes in yoga therapy and treating mind and body as a unit. Giving others an opportunity to cultivate inner peace on the mat and radiate global peace off the mat is Katie’s passion.
