Foundations of yoga is practiced at a slower pace than regular vinyasa style classes, which allows students to breath more deeply as well as increase flexibility, strength, and stamina. This class makes great preparation for a Vinyasa class. Gentle Yoga involves slower Sun Salutations, builds heat in flowing asana sequences, and finishes up with a restorative savasana. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Modifications are available! Music and Sound

Music and sound therapy together with coordinated hand movements can develop concentration, breath coordination, communication and motor skills. Studies have shown repetition of certain sound patters produce a calming and healing effect on the nervous system and mind.
